Britney Spears and Rihanna have finally confirmed on Twitter that they will be teaming up together on a special remix of S&M.RiRi was the first to start blabbing about the collaboration with a series of exclamation-heavy tweets.
She wrote: ‘I got a #SEXY collabo comin your way supa dupa soon!!!! OH YEAH!!! By popular demand…. Its BRITNEY B****!!!! [sic]‘
Rihanna later posted: ‘MAJAH Rihmix to S&M MAJAH!!!! #S&Mrihmix #itsBRITNEYb**** #S&Mrihmix now that’s too much sex in the air. Think u can handle it? You’re the only ones who can #3snaps.’
Britney, who has just released her new video for Till the World Ends, replied on her own page.
She said: ‘@rihanna You’re such a tease! I like it, like it.’
The singer added:’You think they’re ready Ri Ri?’
Rihanna then gushed: ‘@britneyspears one of the biggest worldwide popstars! U gangsta’
Britney repaid the compliment with: ‘You ain’t so bad yourself honey.’
No release date has been announced yet for the remix.
S&M peaked at number three in the UK singles charts and the controversial video featured Rihanna dressed up in bondage gear and brandishing a whip.
The raunchy promo was banned in eleven countries due to its sexual content and it was also restricted to registered users over 18 on YouTube.
